Along with other valuable certifications
, I hold a degree from NPTI, National Personal Training Institute,
a 6 month - 500 hour personal training program that includes over
100 hours each of Anatomy, Physiology and Nutrition along with hands
on training in a gym setting.

distance and finished 5 marathons (including Boston)

Most trainers
in the "gym" only have to read a manual and take a test.
Make sure your trainer has the knowledge and experience that keep
you from injury and can get you healthy and fit.
Try my "buddy" system
approach. I will follow up with you outside of our training time
together to keep you motivated. If you don't have a partner, I will
even participate with your walking, swimming or running program
to help get your cardio done!

If
you are not happy with the way you look or your heath and expect
things to be different you have to make changes, permanent ones!
As you know, diets don't work because they are only temporary. Therefore,
the changes "have" to be consistent. Consistency is the
only way to make my program or any program be successful. Every
training program has to include some type of weight/resistance training
for stronger bones and muscles, but just as important, the proper
nutritional balance.
In my program you will be given
a food and activity journal so we can keep you on track and give
you the "best body" you have ever had!
